PROGRAMME

Day 1 : Mekong cruise* to Tha Souang pier and transfer to Hongsa by road. Overnight in local
Jour 2 guest house.

Day 2 : Meeting the elephants. The caravan departs and travels through ricefields and forest. Jour 2: Overnight at K'hmu village.

Day 3 : Bath, groom and feed your elephant. Learn who to ride and elephant. Overnight camping
Jour 2 in the forest.

Day 4 : Elephant trek.... You drive! Baci ceremony. Overnight camping on the Mekong river banks.

Day 5 : Farewell to the elephants. Departure to either Luang Prabang or Pakbeng by boat*.

* NOTE: for groups of 2 and 3 persons, we use regular boat lines. For groups of 4 to 6 persons, we use a private boat.
