Words from Visitors…

"Saeng was a great guide, very friendly and forthcoming when we had questions. My mahout, Sieng si was incredibly friendly and encouraging. I felt confident and in control when I was on the elephant. The time in the villages was an amazing cultural experience. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The food was truly delicious and all the staff who travelled with us were friendly, entertaining and came to feel like family."

"The welcoming of the villagers into their homes and the celebrations were a highlight of the tour. Watching the skill of the mahouts working the elephants was a treat. The elephants interaction made me feel very lucky. The cooks made the most delicious food and worked very hard looking after us. They are wonderful women and I admire their skill and energy. Saeng is a very skilled translator and guide."

« Lots of emotions. A lot of pleasure in many points. It was wonderful. I'm exhausted but so happy with this unique experience which teaches me a lot. Thanks again for everything. »

« I liked this 2-day trek because I could see remote places in Laos. We were far away from touristic hordes for whom everything is heavily planned.
During the trek « The land of a Milion Elephants », everything is not sterilized:
  • trucks and elephants do not have shock absorbers, neither beds... frail backs, good luck!

  • sweat, dusts, dirt, and eating with your fingers sitting on the floor with a myriad of insects... sensitive person be careful!

It is also ALL those things that make the ADVENTURE!!!
My advise: do not add too much comfort on this tour, it is the duty of tourists to adapt themselves to a new environment (of course in the limits of security matters), and not the opposite...
Thank you! Thanks to you, I could realize one of my dreams: to take a bath with elephants... » »
